Taylortown Cabinets & Countertops
We are a few weeks away from finishing this project. Even though we are extremely close to the finish line, we cannot let off the gas. Last week we saw the first round of countertops and the final cabinets get installed.
Managing kitchen remodels is way more challenging than new construction for a variety of reasons. The biggest reason is the unforeseen issues that continuously arise and need to be solved just as quickly as they present themselves. All construction projects require thorough planning to produce a great experience as well as finished product, but remodels require builders to plan for the unexpected.
You need to be able to see how the project fits together. Scheduling our trade partners in the right order is everything on a remodel like Taylortown. The countertops needed to get installed, because we had cabinetry that sits on the countertops. The final cabinets need to be installed because the counter top needs them installed in order to template the backsplash stone. Every step has to be completed in the right order to be the most efficient.
